Summer School

Extended School Year (ESY) Program

High school students who qualify for ESY will attend classes from 8am to noon at Norwalk High School. Related services including occupational therapy, speech/language, and counseling will also be provided. Additional special education staff will be on hand to provide assistance to students who are attending credit recovery

 

High School Summer Academy Credit Recovery

  • 8 AM to 12 PM - exact Offerings times dependent on course enrollment
  • July 5th to August 4th No Friday 14th, 21st or 28th
  • Tentative Summer School Graduation: August 4th at 6 PM

High School Summer Academy Twilight Program

Last spring, NPS launched its successful Twilight Program to support high school students who have alternative schedules and may work and support their families in multiple ways during the daytime. The NPS summer Twilight Program will continue this year to engage high school students who are not able to attend classes during the day. 

 

Multilingual Learners

The MLL Accelerated Summer Program is designed for MLL students who need a course to meet graduation requirements. Students may take up to 2 courses. The program will run for 5 weeks at Norwalk High School from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
