ROTC Department Overview 

 

The goal of Air Force Junior ROTC is simply to build “better and more productive citizens.”  Led by a retired senior Air Force officer and non-commissioned officer, it is a combination of academic classes and co-curricular activities.  At NHS, we stress the value of academic success along with community service to develop good citizenship habits while building hands-on teamwork and leadership skills.  A motivated cadet can finish our program with a record of service, teamwork and leadership that is second to none and highly attractive to universities, scholarship committees, and employers.
