The social studies department provides classes that prepare students to be humane and rational participants in an ever-changing environment. In order to live a successful life in this expanding world, students need to develop a keen understanding of the social, intellectual, political, and economic forces they will face. The scope and sequence of our classes will prepare students to achieve these goals and assist in their growth as citizens in a multicultural, global community.
