Travel the World with NHS

The Norwalk High School Interdisciplinary Global Engagement Pathway (IGEP) is an exciting opportunity open to all NHS students. Our goal is for students to become globally competent citizens through world-wide exploration, recognition of global perspectives, communication to diverse audiences and the drive to take action to initiate change. 

When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on our adventures.

Students will be eligible to apply for a Connecticut Certificate of Global Engagement by successfully completing IGE Pathway requirements including globally-focused coursework, extracurriculars, and a global service learning/action project. Students can apply this project to a Capstone credit as well.

2026-27 Trips

During the 2026-27 school year, we have groups of students traveling to Spain, Iceland and South Korea. The following year, we are tentatively planning adventure to Argentina & Chile and the Capitols of Scandinavia with more trips yet to be announced!
