GENERAL INFORMATION
Summer School will be held June 27-July 28 at Norwalk High School for secondary academics and enrichment courses. (There will be no classes on July 4th).
One hundred percent (100%) of the registration fee MUST be paid when registering. Application forms for all make-up courses in which the student intends to receive credit MUST be signed by a counselor, housemaster, or principal BEFORE the student is registered and awarded credit (no accelerated course will be offered). Application will be mailed to every home in the district.

The Personal Fulfillment Program is designed to provide small group instruction with an emphasis on allowing elementary and middle school-age children to choose activities that interest them.
Activity choices: Science/Electronics, Rockets, Remote Cars, Bicycles, Kite Building, Computers, Keyboarding, Small Engines, Theater, Video Production, Arts and Crafts, Swimming, Games, Music, Cooking, and loads of fun! Please note- unfortunately, the pool is closed this summer so swimming will not be an activity choice for PF Camp.
CAMP LOCATIONS:
Elementary: Nathan Hale Middle School-- Available for students entering grades K - 5.
Middle School: Norwalk High School—Available for students entering grades 6 - 9. Student who have completed 5th grade who have younger siblings attending the Nathan Hale camp are eligible to attend there as well, otherwise they will attend camp at Norwalk High.

Before and After Camp Care
Before and After Camp care is available to all children enrolled in the Personal Fulfillment Camp. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO BEFORE CAMP CARE on the first day of camp (June 27th).
Hours of Operation: Morning: 7:30a.m.- 9:00 a.m.
Afternoon: 3:00p.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Location: Nathan Hale Middle School
Activities: Gym games, board games, outdoor activities, arts and crafts
Grouping: Children are group by age with adult staff

Late Fee (for failure to pick up your child by 5:00 p.m.): additional $10 minimum.
Payment: Payments must be made on the first day of the week that you are signing up for. Please have payments in on time. Stephanie Foust-Sewell. Director of Before & After Program,will be available every Monday morning between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to collect new weekly schedules, collect payments and give receipts. In order to partake in the program for the upcoming week, the balance must be clear from the previous week.Please keep any payments for Before/After Care as separate from PF Camp registration payments.

ESL and ELL
Summer School for ESL—for Grades 9-12
Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.-12:10 p.m., from June 27- August 3 at Norwalk High School.
This is a free, one-credit (120) ESL class for students who are enrolled in ESL I, II, or III for the fall. Students will be divided into 3 levels for instruction. These intensive classes are designed to accelerate students’ acquisition of English. Upon successful completion, students will receive one credit towards graduation.
Summer School for ESL—for Grades 6-8
Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.-10:00 a.m., from June 27- August 3 at Norwalk High School.
This is a free ESL class for middle school students to accelerate their acquisition of English during the summer months. This class is only open to middle school English Language Learners (ELLs).
